With the sad delisting of Forza Horizon 4 yesterday (December 15th 2024), INSIDE has moved up to position 1 in the top Xbox Game Pass games based on Metacritic reviews and Xbox user reviews.
With a Metacritic score of 93 and a Xbox user score of 4.7, it’s a well deserved accolade, but as mentioned in our recent top ten feature on Game Pass, most of the high performers are very old games, which reflects the relatively poor nature of recent Xbox first party releases and Game Pass quality in general (Indiana Jones and the Great Circle aside – which incidentally, doesn’t quite make the top ten).
Let’s hope that next year, with the likes of Avowed, South of Midnight and Fable all expected to launch, we get some new entries to refresh the list.
